Cordelia Raidne

Her family was forced to leave their home, Atoli. The community didn't like their family's talents, it was deceiving, confusing and something to be feared.
They stopped singing and used their powers only when it was necessary. After all, they did not want to be cast out another time.
Cordelia grew up to be a beautiful girl, and even if her family told her not to sing anymore, she couldn't help but use her voice every so often.
The restrictions her family put on her, only made her want to be more free. Thus, she often snuck out, sang at local taverns, and perhaps even stole a few treasures every now and then to add to the collection.
After a while of perfect secrecy, her mother unfortunately found out about her little trips onto land and thus sent her to the academy. Perhaps there she would be disciplined and learn of the dangers regarding herself and the outside world there.
